SATURDAY, MARCH 11th

Come join
The Kids
Ecology Corps at
Water Matters Day is from
9:00am-3:00pm at
Tree
Tops
Park
in
Davie.
The event will focus on the County’s recent designation
as a “Community Wildlife Habitat” by the National Wildlife
Federation. Participants who visit various
educational exhibits will receive FREE items such as native
trees and plants, mulch, and a rain
gauge. Remember to bring
your own bucket for mulch! This is a family-friendly event,
with plenty of activities for children and music.
This is going
to be very exciting
this year! See
http://www.broward.org/watermatters/wti01706.htm for more
info.
If you can give 2 hours of your time before or after you enjoy
the activities, please call 954-524-0366 or e-mail me.
Adult and/or kid volunteers needed to help explain
some simple things
people can do to help keep our water clean.
We need help mostly between 11 am and 2 pm.
P.S. We always need plastic 6 pack rings
that we use
in our
presentations and we are running
out. If you could save them, please
contact me.
Thanks again.
